                   AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 6958, AS
                   AMENDED, KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE, SO AS
                   TO REZONE A TRACT OF LAND LOCATED AT 7210 NOAH
                   REID ROAD, BEING ON THE SOUTHEAST LINE OF NOAH
                   REID ROAD AT SHALLOWFORD ROAD, FROM R-1
                   RESIDENTIAL ZONE AND R-2 RESIDENTIAL ZONE TO
                   O-1 OFFICE ZONE, SUBJECT TO CERTAIN CONDITIONS.

              	   SECTION 1.  BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
         CITY OF CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That Ordinance No. 6958, as
         amended, known as the Zoning Ordinance, be and the same is 
hereby
         amended so as to rezone:
               
                A tract of land located at 7210 Noah Reid Road,
                being on the southeast line of Noah Reid Road at
                Shallowford Road.  Part of an unplatted tract,
                being part of the property described in deed book
                371, page 305, ROHC.  Said part of tract begins at
                the intersection of the southeast line of Noah Reid
                Road with the northeast line of Shallowford Road,
                thence northeast some 545 feet with Noah Reid Road,
                thence southeast some 153 feet to the northwest
                corner of lot 40, Addition of Lots 39 and 40 to
                Shallowford Hills Subdivision, as shown by plat of
                record in plat book 29, page 136, ROHC, thence
                southwest 480 feet with the northwest line of said
                lot 40, and said line extended, to the northeast
                line of Shallowford Road, thence northwest 166 feet
                with Shallowford Road to the southeast line of Noah
                Reid Road, the point of beginning.  Tax Map No.
                138K-C-1 (part).
               
               
         from R-1 Residential Zone and R-2 Residential Zone to O-1 
Office
         Zone.
        
              	   SECTION 2.  BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this rezoning 

         shall be subject to the following conditions:
        
              1.   Approved to the tree line and leave the trees.	  
        
              2.   All existing easements are retained.
        
        
              	   SECTION 3.  BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this 
Ordinance
         shall take effect two weeks from and after its passage, as
         provided by law.
